Near the bottom of the screen are two lines of status information.

The first line shows the state of the transport buttons. If the Play button is depressed, the label will include "Playing", or if the Record button is depressed, it will include "Recording." If the Pause button is depressed, it will include "Paused."

The second line displays the state of the Tuning Option. Clicking the checkbox will toggle its state. When the Tuning Option is turned on, pitch sensitivity is multiplied by five, so that a smaller pitch deviation will show up in bright red or blue.
