When Check for Modified Files is selected, then any time you're about to close a file you've just recorded, the system will ask if you want to save the file first.

The Check for Updates on Startup option controls whether or not Intonia will query the Intonia website when it starts up to see if a newer version is available. The legal values are:

• Never: Automatic checks for updates will not be performed. Manual checks may still be done using Check for Updates on the File Menu.
• Once: An automatic check for updates will performed the next time Intonia starts up. If the check fails (for example, because no connection to the internet is available), it will be rescheduled; if the check succeeds this option will be set to Never.
• Always: Automatic checks for updates will be performed each and every time Intonia starts up.

This option is also controlled by the checkbox labeled "Always check for updates on startup", on the Updates Found dialog .
